Memorial Day

Ladies of the 177th Ward looking ready for summer!

A thrilling game of badminton played by some wardies!

For some Memorial Day is recognized as the kick off to summer, fire up the grill and enjoy the warm weather. For others it is a day to remember those who have served our nation and given their lives for the protection of its citizens. This weekend the web was flooded with searches about Memorial Day, how to observe it, and its history. For a quick read click here.

We had a great time up at the Potter's for Home Evening. A huge thanks to them for their hospitality, pictures will be posted soon. And if you didn't read the ward email from a few days ago they have offered their home for activities and dates. So look at you calendars, pick a date, and let them know.

Nothing says summer better than croquet.

Though a game of Polo with the likes of this guy may just take the cake...
